Opportunity Elementary holds a special place in my heart, as I started my career here as a teacher. I am so excited to continue the mission and vision of this amazing school. I look forward to working with students, staff, and community. My passion is working with all levels of elementary students and staff. It is amazing to watch learning and growth as our students become positive influences in our growing community. 

 

As the principal of Opportunity Elementary, I will commit to creating an environment that has high expectations and maximum support for every student every day. We will empower each child to grow and become a well-rounded citizen, because every child’s future counts. We have a highly qualified cohesive staff that accepts every opportunity to grow professionally and support our students. We foster an environment where students are engaged in their learning, provide a safe and welcoming climate, allow our students to set goals that connect their learning and behavior to their futures, we collaborate to improve instruction, and we promote and celebrate diversity.

 

We believe in partnerships and work closely with families and our community. This is a critical link in achieving a quality educational experience for our students.
